A Super Sneaky Scam

My phone rings, and it is the fraud department of Wells Fargo Bank. I know they don’t call, but the guy on the phone knows where I live and seemed legitimate. Fortunately, I kept thinking… but they never call unless you have called them first.

I told him I would call back and called the bank’s fraud department directly. They had NOT called me. It was a SCAM!! I’m glad I did not give him any information and called my bank.

These SCAMS are getting more frequent. I am now a “Senior” and a target. If you get a call from your bank, call them back, even if the person on the phone has your information and sounds legitimate.

Be careful.
